EXPERIENCE

INDEPENDENT PRACTICE

Visit  in a private and quiet setting where Dr. Baker is the only staff member you will interact with other than an occasional friendly receptionist or fellow office building tenant.

Spending time in a crowded waiting area that imbues a "herd mentality" of scheduling "back-to-back appointments" in order to see as many patients as possible in a day is an outdated practice.

Dr. Baker manages scheduling and billing and is the only person with access to your personal healthcare information; only information that is required by insurance companies for determining benefits and billing.

No personal information is ever saved on "the cloud."

THE SCIENTIST PRACTITIONER MODEL

The scientist-practitioner model (SPM) is a cornerstone of training clinical psychologists.  Within this model, rigorous academic and clinical  training is designed to blend scientific knowledge with practical skills, ensuring practitioners are both well-versed in research AND adept in applying findings to their work (art and science).
